Ghassan Kasabreh
NDC Director
Mr. Ghassan Kasabreh has been the Director of the NGO Development Center since November 2006. Mr. Kasabreh’s professional involvement in Palestinian civil society stretches back 25 years. He has led major initiatives supporting community development and the development of a just and democratic Palestinian society by promoting good governance and sector transparency and accountability. Mr. Kasabreh, holds an MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Birzeit University, Palestine. He has been a member of the Jordanian Engineers Association for over 20 years and serves as a board member of several civil society organizations. Mr. Kasabreh has acquired specialized expertise in the NGO sector and in international cooperation through his extensive experience in project and organizational development throughout the West Bank and Gaza.
Alaa’ Ghalayini
Gaza Program Manager
Mr. Alaa Ghalayini, holds an MBA from the Islamic University in Gaza, and an MS degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, USA as a Fulbright Scholar, and earned a BSc. in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering from the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
Hazem Quneibi
Financial Manager
Mr. Hazem Quneibi serves as NDCs’ Financial Manager since April 2016. He holds a BA in Accounting from Birzeit University since 1995, and the Palestinian CPA since Jan. 2017. Mr. Quneibi has 7 years’ experience in accounting and 15 years in financial management. He works with several big NGOs and be the responsible for all financial procedures and issues. In addition to his experience and knowledge, Mr. Quneibi worked as an auditor with one of the big audit firms.
