Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and World Bank joint mission completes mid-term Review of Palestinian NGO IV Project
From the 17th to the 29th of March a joint AFD and World Bank delegation carried out a detailed mid-term review of the Palestinian NGO IV Project managed by NDC (funded by AFD/World Bank). NDC is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established to provide a sustainable Palestinian mechanism for the provision of support to the NGOs sector. NDC is proud to manage the Palestinian NGO IV Project (PNGO IV). PNGO IV aims to continue the success of the previous three PNGO projects while improving the delivery of key social services to Palestinian communities suffering from deteriorating socio-economic conditions. The project also contributes towards the institutional development of the NGO sector. By focusing on issues such as good governance, accountability and transparency, the project supports the sector in responding to the needs of Palestinians – especially the poor and vulnerable. Building the capacity of Palestinian NGOs will provide the basis for the long-term and sustainable provision of these services, whilst contributing to equal access to social services for the poor and marginalized.
